MSc Natalia Ormeño Cano
Natalia Ormeño Cano graduated in chemical engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry in the University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM), Spain. She obtained her MSc studies in Renewable Energy Sources at the University of San Pablo CEU, Madrid and subsequently, she was selected by the University Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) for a full grant to study a Master in Materials Science and Engineering. Since 2016, she was involved as a junior researcher in different pojects on the development of novel materials for fuel cells, and 3D and syntered materials for various applications. She spent one year as a research assistant at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Polarnd. Natalia is currently conducting her PhD thesis on the development and optimization of graphene-based sponge electrodes for the removal of antibiotics and antibiotic resistant genes (ARGs) from water.
